The Secretary, Ekameta Local Council Development Area, (LCDA) Hon (Dr).Leye Adeniji will on 29 December, 2022 organize a free health service for the elderly between 60 years and above.
The Secretary in a statement made available to Journalists in Ado Ekiti said the elderly needed medical attention to be hale and hearty for them to live longer.
The statement added that doctors will be available at Women Development Center, Ikogosi Ekiti by 9:00 AM to run free test, give medical advice, prescribe and give free medications to the elderly under the auspices of the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji.
The statement enjoined the inhabitants of Ikogosi Ekiti to inform the elderly to be seated by 8:30 A.M for the free health service.
Dr. Leye said he wanted to replicate the good works of the Governor at his local government despite paucity of fund .
