A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Ekiti State 2026 gubernatorial election, Engr Kayode Ojo has urged party members across the state to actively participate in the ongoing E-registration exercise, particularly those whose names were unlawfully removed in violation of the Constitution of both the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the All Progressives Congress APC late last year.
Engr. Ojo made the appeal in a statement issued and signed by his Campaign Organisation spokesman Femi Awojobi on Wednesday in Ado Ekiti, emphasizing the need for fairness, justice, and inclusiveness within the party as it prepares for future electoral contests.
He encouraged Ekiti residents from other political platforms to seize the opportunity presented by the E-registration exercise to formally join the APC and contribute to the collective vision of national development under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to him, the APC remains a platform built on progressive ideals, offering policies and programs designed to positively transform both past and present socio economic realities of Nigerians.
He stated that the moment calls for citizens, especially the people of Ekiti State, to actively determine their political future by aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, an agenda focused on sustainable reforms and improved welfare for all Nigerians.
Engr Ojo further commended the President as the national leader of the APC for encouraging the party to adopt E-registration initiative, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening internal democracy, restoring confidence among members, and ensuring equal rights and a sense of belonging within the party.
He advised party members and Ekiti residents who encounter any challenges during the registration process to formally lodge their complaints at the APC State Secretariat, Ajilosun, Ado Ekiti. He also made available the Kayode Ojo Campaign Organisation Office in Ajilosun, Ado Ekiti, as an additional point of contact, or alternatively to reach out to Elder Kayode Osho on 09015410867 for clarification.
