A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and House of Representatives aspirant for Ikole/Oye Federal Constituency I in the 2027 general elections, Chief( Mrs.) Olufunke Victoria Owoseni, has extended warm Easter greetings to residents across the constituency, urging them to embrace the virtues of love, sacrifice and renewal which the season symbolizes.
In her Easter message made available to newsmen on Sunday, the Ijesa-Isu Ekiti born politician called on Christians and all constituents to reflect on the significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, noting that the season offers a renewed opportunity for unity, peace and collective progress.
Chief (Mrs) Owoseni, who has held several strategic political positions including former APC Women Leader, former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Gender Empowerment and Social Development, among others, expressed optimism about a brighter future for the constituency. She appreciated the people of Ikole/Oye Federal Constituency I for their continuous support for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Biodun Oyebanji, urging them to work for their re-elections in June 20th, 2026 and 2027 presidential elections . She assured residents of Ikole/Oye federal constituency of unwavering commitment to service and grassroots development.
The House of Representatives hopeful reiterated her resolve to provide robust, qualitative and effective legislation that would address the needs and aspirations of the people if given the mandate in 2027. “I remain committed to championing policies and programmes that will bring about sustainable development, empower our people, and attract meaningful federal presence to our constituency,” she said.
Chief (Mrs) Owoseni further urged residents to remain steadfast, law-abiding and supportive of progressive leadership at all levels, while wishing them a peaceful and fulfilling Easter celebration.
