Community engagement by APC leaders in Ilupeju Ekiti has become a tradition in supporting the shared prosperity agenda of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, as the Ekiti State Coordinator for Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project,( RAAMP), Hon Sunday Adunmo doled out two million naira to residents of the town recently.
Hon Adunmo, during the week distributed two million naira to three hundred and twenty members of All Progressive Congress in Ilupeju Ekiti Ward 1 and 2 to support their businesses for keeping faith with the party.
Hon Adunmo who is one of the major financiers of APC in Ekiti North, was represented by the chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu and the Special Assistant to Ekiti state Governor on Wealth Creation and Employment, Hon Sesan Oniyelu popularly called’ORIKANBODY’ said the RAAM Coordinator’s kind gesture was one of the several interventions he has been given to members of the party in Ilupeju Ekiti and Ekiti state at large.
The duo made it crystal clear that APC was not unaware of the economic situation in the country, assured residents of the community that both federal and Ekiti state Governments are working hard to make Nigerians enjoy more dividends of democracy.
While admonishing the beneficiaries of the cash gift to remain loyal to the party, exercise patience and solicited prayers for governor Oyebanji as he’s determined to execute several lofty programmes and policies that would make Ekiti state an envy of other states in Nigeria.
Handing over the cash to the beneficiaries, Hon Oniyelu posited that his political godfather, Hon Adunmo would not relent in helping them. “Galaxy felt your conditions that’s why he rolled out this financial assistance which is done in batches. Those that are yet to be captured now would be captured in subsequent ones.
The beneficiaries could not hide their feelings as they sang several songs praising Hon Adunmo whom they called their benefactors, prayed to God to tilt him up politically.
