The Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria, (ALGON) , Ekiti State Chapter who doubles as the Chairman of Ekiti East Local Government, Omuo Ekiti, Hon Ojo Oluwasegun Samuel has Felicitated the wife of Ekiti state Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji on the occasion of her 54th birthday.
The ALGON Chairman described the wife of the Governor as a strong pillar of support; morale booster, reservoir of knowledge and virtuous woman whose humility, dexterity intellectualism, morality and humanitarian services to the good people of Ekiti state has not only made residents of Ekiti believe in the administration of her husband, Biodun Oyebanji but has
endeared Ekiti populace home and in the Diaspora lend their unflinching support to the Governor.
In a congratulatory statement signed by the ALGON Chairman on behalf of his colleagues and made available to journalists on Friday, attributed the numerous human and capital developments witnessed in all nooks and crannies of Ekiti state in the last two years of Governor Oyebanji to Dr Olayemi, who had properly managed the home front which set the pace for good governance.
Ekiti ALGON commended the wife of the Governor for her, Widows Aged and Orphans Hope Pet Project tagged (WAOH), Back to School Initiative, Adire Ekiti and many other intervention programmes that have changed the living conditions of several thousand residents of the state.
According to the statement, Ekiti ALGON joins the first family to celebrate and appreciate God for the special grace He’s given to the first lady who’s accustomed to putting smiles on the faces of the masses, especially the women, children and the vulnerable who thought there was no hope. Dr Olayemi’s passion for human development had not only given voice to the voiceless; had strengthened, given them hope
and a new lease of life”
Indeed, you are a blessing to Ekiti state. Your native intelligence, ethos of ‘Omoluabi’ and exemplary leadership had not only awaken the consciousness of the women folks to actively participate in politics but
has earned them better positions in the administration of your dear husband which has been adjudged the best state in Nigeria with highest number of women in government.

We appreciate your pragmatism, support, encouragement and leadership prowees that has enhanced our services to the people at the grassroot.
