Ekiti State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Dayo Apata, SAN has pledged to maintain the Ministry’s top position in internally generated revenue.
The promise came after the Ministry of Justice was awarded first place by the Ekiti State Internal Revenue Service (EKIRS) for its outstanding contributions to the state’s internally generated revenue.
Mr. Apata attributed the achievement to Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s worker-friendly policies, which have created a conducive environment for the Ministry’s staff and management to thrive.
He also commended workers in the Ministry for their hard work and dedication, noting that their efforts have ensured that all revenues are paid into the state government’s purse.
The Commissioner for Justice urged the members of staff to remain committed to their duties, particularly in the area of internally generated revenue, to maintain the Ministry’s top position.
He emphasized that the reward for hard work is to work even harder, striving for excellence in all areas.
The State’s Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Barr Sunday Bamise who received the award on behalf of the Ministry commended the State Governor and the EKIRS for recognizing hardwork and excellence, saying the gesture will further boost the morale of the awardees.
He eulogised the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice for being a pragmatic, resilient and audacious leader whose enviable leadership traits serve as motivating factor for the Management and staff of the Ministry.
Governor Biodun Oyebanji had earlier, commended the Ministry of Justice for its outstanding performance in internally generated revenue and encouraged the staff to maintain the tempo.
