An Ekiti State High Court Judge, Justice Oluwasegun Isaac Ogunyemi is allegedly enmeshed in Adultery scandal.
According to the petitioner, Prof Babalola Abegunde who addressed journalists after the first hearing of his application in Ekiti State high court in Ado, alleged Justice Ogunyemi of being the brain behind the total breakdown of his marriage to the first respondent, Oluwatoyin Olayemi Abegunde, nee Olorunshola, who is a lawyer
Abegunde said he had prayed the court for the dissolution of the marriage on the ground of adultery, intolerable behavior and non- consumation of marriage” .
He also asked for the custody of the last born of the marriage as well as damages to the tune of 200m against the second respondent, Justice Oluwasegun Ogunyemi for committing adultery with the first respondent which had made the marriage intolerable.
Prof Abegunde explained that the court presided over by Justice Niyi Familoni after hearing their application , adjourned the matter to Friday 24th October,2025.
He expressed confidence in the judge, but however demanded for fair hearing.
