The Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, Rt.Hon Taiwo Olatunbosun and SA Media to Ekiti State Governor, Mr Yinka Oyebode have commended the State information Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) for a smooth transition in a free election.
Olatunbosun and Oyebode gave the commendation at separate courtesy visits to their offices by the new leadership of the Chapel.
While assuring of his continuous support for the Union, Olatunbosun called for unity, explaining that only unity of purpose among members can help the Union reclaim its rightful position in the state.
Mr Oyebode congratulated the Obelewaji led executive calling on the leadership to encourage their members to take up professional courses to enhance their productivity and efficiency .
They pledged their unflinching support for the Union and members at large.
Responding, the chairman, comrade Wale Obelewaji appreciated the Commissioner and the Special Adviser for their unwavering support and robust contributions to the Union in time past.
Obelewaji expressed his readiness to run an all- inclusive administration that would guarantee peace, unity and progress of the Union and the entire members.
While soliciting the continuous support of the governor’s aides for the Union, he called on members to join hands with him to take the union to an enviable height in Ekiti State.
