The Nigeria Police Force has concluded arrangements for the physical and credential screening of applicants for the recruitment of General Duty and Specialist Police Constables in Ekiti State.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Police Command, SP Abutu Sunday, the screening exercise will run from March 9 to April 18, 2026, at the Command Headquarters Conference Room, Old Iyin Road, Ado-Ekiti.
The exercise, which will begin daily at 7:00 a.m., is specifically for applicants from Ekiti State who successfully completed the online registration for the recruitment process into the Nigeria Police Force.
According to the statement, eligible applicants are advised to log on to the official recruitment portal to confirm their eligibility, check their screening dates and print all required documents before appearing at the screening venue.
Applicants are expected to present documents including their invitation slip, application submission slip, credentials screening form, physical screening form, duly completed guarantor’s form, National Identity Number printout or identity card issued by the National Identity Management Commission, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, certificate of origin signed by their local government chairman or secretary, as well as trade test certificates for specialist applicants.
Candidates are also required to present the originals and duplicate copies of their credentials neatly arranged in two separate white files with recent passport photographs attached.
The statement added that applicants must appear for the screening dressed in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts and white stockings.
The Commissioner of Police in Ekiti State, Joseph Eribo, urged all applicants to conduct themselves responsibly during the exercise and comply strictly with all guidelines. He emphasized that the recruitment screening will be conducted strictly on merit and in line with professionalism and transparency.
The Police Command also reiterated that the recruitment exercise is free of charge, warning applicants to beware of individuals who may attempt to extort money from them.
