The Coordinator of the Ekiti State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), Hon Sunday Adunmo has felicitated Muslims across Ekiti State and Nigeria on the celebration of 2025 Eid-el-Mubarak, urging the faithful to pray for the continued success and re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in the 2026 gubernatorial election.
In a statement made available to journalists on Thursday, Hon Adunmo, described Eid-el-Mubarak as a sacred season not just for celebration but for deep reflection on the values of sacrifice, faith, discipline, and compassion.
“I felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters across Ekiti State and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Mubarak,”.The holy period reminds us of the importance of spiritual renewal, patience, and selflessness.” Hon Adunmo stated.
The RAAMP Coordinator called on Muslims to use the holy period to pray for continued peace and progress of Ekiti State, especially as the state prepares for the 2026 gubernatorial election.
“As we rejoice with our Muslim brethren, I also urge the faithful to fervently pray for His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, whose leadership has brought stability, development, and hope to the people of Ekiti State. Let us ask God to grant him the strength, wisdom, and divine favour to succeed in his bid for re-election so that he can consolidate on the solid foundation he has already laid across sectors.”
Hon Adunmo highlighted the Governor’s commitment to rural development, which aligns with RAAMP’s core mandate of improving rural access roads and enhancing agricultural value chains to boost local economies.
“Governor Oyebanji’s inclusive governance style and focus on infrastructure, especially in underserved rural communities, has positioned Ekiti for greater prosperity. His support for projects like RAAMP has been instrumental in ensuring that farmers and rural dwellers are not left behind in the development drive,” he added.
He encouraged all Ekiti residents to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and committed to building a united and forward-looking state.
