Following the victory of Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as governor-elect, Ekiti State. The Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has approved the composition of the Transition Committee and an Advisory Council in accordance with the Ekiti State Transition Law, 2019.
In a statement made available to journalists by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Hon. Yinka Oyebode stressed that the Transition Committee’s duties include, assessing the state of the current administration, reviewing the projects and programmes of MDAs, and formulating plans for a seamless transition.
Hon. Oyebode added that unresolved problems would be handled by the Advisory Council. The chief press secretary said the governor-elect and the state government chose the transition and Advisory committees.
The Transition Committee’s members include:
