The chairman -elect for Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon. Olusola Michael Oniyelu has promised to initiate programmes that would be beneficial to all and sundries in the LCDA.
Hon Olusola Oniyelu made the disclosure after receiving his certificate of return from Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission’s chairman at Adetiloye Hall, Ado Ekiti on Tuesday.
While appreciating God Almighty, the chairman-elect said” I sincerely appreciate God and those that God used for me to attain this post, I hold you all in high esteem and I will never disappoint you. I will reciprocate your kind gesture with improved governance ”
The chairman who reiterated his readiness to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor in the LCDA, stressed that all machineries would be put in place to make residents of Ifeloju LCDA enjoy dividends of democracy. According to him, ” Local Council/ Local Government are the closest to the masses, in lieu of this, I will have no other business than to serve my people diligently and make them happy by providing for their basic needs.
Hon Olusola Oniyelu appreciated former Governor Kayode Fayemi for establishing Local Council Development Areas and Governor Biodun Oyebanji for not only sustaining the good legacy but for prioritizing good governance in Ekiti state.
You will recall that the Local Government election held on 2nd December, 2023 paved way for new leaderships in all the Local Governments/ Local Council Development Areas in the state.
