The Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, Professor Kayode Olabanji has enjoined Muslim faithfuls in the hospital to devote themselves to prayers, saying the rapid developments in the hospital was as a result of answered prayers.
The CMD, in a congratulatory message to the Muslims at Eld-El-Fitr celebration, urged them to reflect the lessons and virtues of the holy month which include; peace, love, kindness, tolerance and empathy in their daily life.
In a statement by Head Corporate Affairs, Rolake Adewumi, congratulated Muslims for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
The statement reads in part; the attributes of Islamic Faith are in tandem with the works of Health Practitioners, adding that the services of saving lives should be done as unto Allah.
The CMD urged the staff to continue to show greater sense of sympathy and commitment in the course of discharging their duties.
The EKSUTH boss noted that the Teaching Hospital is key to the delivery of health care services to Ekiti people, stressing that regular medical checkup is paramount to healthy living, and encouraged all citizens to embrace it.
Prof. Olabanji prayed Allah to keep on protecting everyone to witness many more celebrations.
