Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has dissolved the State Executive Council ahead of the expiration of his administration on October 15, 2022.
Dr Fayemi made the pronouncement during the valedictory executive session held at the governor’s office in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday.
The Governor directed the appointees to hand over government properties to the most senior civil servants in their various ministries, departments and agencies .
He thanked them for their unflinching support and contributions towards the restoration of the core values of the state and restoring the loss glory.
While appreciating the appointees for their selfless sacrifice to the development of Ekiti state, saying they have written their names in gold .
Fayemi prayed God to reward them abundantly and wished them success in their future career
During the meeting, members of the executive council took turn to share their experiences in the last four years and thanked the governor for given them the opportunity to serve the state.
Among the former executive members that joined the valedictory session were: Former Deputy Governor, Prof Modupe Adelabu, Mr Biodun Akin-Fasea, Kayode Olaosebikan, and Engr Wole Adewunmi .
