The newly inaugurated Executive members of the Forum of Heads of Federal Establishments, Ekiti State Chapter, have commenced a series of familiarisation and courtesy visits to federal establishments across the state, aimed at strengthening collaboration and fostering cordial relationships among member agencies.
Chairman, Forum of Heads of Federal Establishments, Mrs. Oluyemisi Omotola led the executive on a visit to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ekiti State Office, where the team was received by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr. Bunmi Omoseyindemi, alongside members of his management team. During the engagement, discussions focused on INEC’s constitutional mandate, operational framework, and its critical role in Nigeria’s electoral process. Dr. Omoseyindemi assured the Forum of INEC’s continued support and cooperation.

The Executive also paid courtesy visits to other federal establishments, including the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), and the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (FMHURD). Heads of these institutions used the opportunity to outline their respective mandates, mission statements, and services rendered to the public and Ekiti State in particular. They expressed commitment to enhanced synergy within the Forum and identified areas requiring improvement for the collective benefit of members.

As part of the familiarisation tour, the Executive members inspected the Forum’s parcel of land, noting its strategic location and development potential. The team expressed readiness to explore available channels and partnerships towards the construction of a modern facility that will serve the needs of members in the near future.
Another major issue discussed was the revival of the Forum’s moribund staff school. Members underscored the importance of restoring the school to enable children of members and staff access quality and affordable education.
Responding on behalf of the Executive, the Forum Chairman, Mrs. Oluyemisi Omotola, assured members that the leadership would critically examine the identified challenges and work towards sustainable solutions.E
