The Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon Bamidele Fadugba has rejoiced with the children of the Local Government ,described them as the future of Nigeria.
He called on government, stakeholders and parents to prioritize the children’s education, and wellbeing, advised that their fundamental human rights be guaranteed.
The Local Government Boss disclosed these at Otun Ekiti in Moba Local Government during the children’s day celebration. The chairman reiterated that children deserved respect, justice and should be protected against: abuse, rape, molestation, bully and other social maladies that could truncate their brighter future. Hon Fadugba called for strong punishment for whoever finds violating children’s rights ,while calling on the children to speak up whenever anybody tries to molest them .
High point of celebration include; match past, cultural display and presentation of gifts to deserving schools.
