As Christians all over the world celebrate crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon Bamidele FADUGBA has urged residents of Moba to reflect on the lessons of the season in their daily lives.
Hon Fadugba, in a statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti, rejoiced with christians across the globe for witnessing this year’s Easter. The statement reads, “I Felicitate with the good people of Moba land on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration. Lessons for this season include : sacrifice, sincere love, compassion, forgiveness and hope among others. Remember Jesus paid the supreme price for mankind by laying his life for us on the cross in order for us to live despite his faultless and sinless life “.
It’s on this note, I enjoin you all to live a sacrificial life, show unconditional love to one another and forgive those who have in one way or the other erred you. I am very sure if we all practise these, our society will be a better place to live in . I wish you all a happy Easter and pray for the renewal of our faiths ”
The chairman further urged residents to be moderate in their celebration and assured them of adequate security, while reiterating his unwavering commitment to providing more dividends of democracy to MOBA residents.
