The Executive Chairman of Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area, Isan Ekiti, Hon Muyiwa Ajibola, has again congratulated the Governor of Ekiti state, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on his recent two awards by the Vanguard Newspaper and the Energy Times.
Governor Oyebanji was on Friday conferred Energy Governor of the year by Energy Times and Vanguard Personality of the year (Good Governance) by Vanguard Newspaper at different fora.
In a congratulatory statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti on Monday, Hon Muyiwa noted that stars are easily noticed through their good intentions which propel people’s oriented programmes.
The statement reads; “These arrays of awards bestowed on the Ekiti state Governor in the last few months by several organizations have shown that Governor Oyebanji is God sent, not only placing Ekiti state in the global map via his giant strides in critical sectors of governance, economic growth, infrastructure and social development across the state, but restoring the hope of the good people of Ekiti state; Your timely interventions in road construction/ rehabilitation, Agriculture, tourism, health, education, energy/power have all culminated in good governance that we are all proud of and celebrating today. ”

“It’s on this basis, I and the good people of Ifesowapo Local Council Development Area, Isan Ekiti joined thousands of your numerous admirers and well wishers in and outside Nigeria to celebrate your recognition as a pragmatic and progressive governor who has not only prioritized welfare of the masses but building a modern Ekiti state which will be a model not only for south Western states but Nigeria.The chairman stated.
Hon Muyiwa stressed that Governor Oyebanji’s administration is a confirmation of the scripture which says that when the righteous are in position of authority, the masses rejoice .
Recall that barely a month ago, Governor Oyebanji was honoured as 2024 Man of the year by Silverbird Group, in recognition of the Governor’s visionary and transformation in Ekiti state.
