Leaders of All Progressives Congress( APC) in Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti have applauded Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his developmental programmes in the state, promised him unflinching support .
The leaders gave the commendation during a meeting with the Council Chairman, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu on Monday, at the LCDA Secretariat.
Speaking on behalf of the leaders, Hon Olumide Abraham, Itapa-Osin Ward and Chief Samuel Alonge, Ilupeju (2) commended Governor Oyebanji for his developmental programmes and policies that have direct impact on the people of the state.
The leaders applauded the governor’s massive developments in infrastructure and industrialization, Agriculture and Rural Development, Human Capital Development, Youth Development, Job Creation and Arts, Culture and Tourism among others.
The leaders further commended the Governor for prioritizing the welfare of Ekiti people through various schemes and palliatives to mitigate the effects of fuel subsidy on the masses.
While assuring the governor of their unwavering commitment and support beyond first term in office, they called on Ekiti residents to reciprocate the good services of the Governor by praying for him to fully actualize his plans and visions for the state.
On his part, Chief Alonge said Ifeloju LCDA would continue to work for the governor and urged him to remember the LCDA in his subsequent appointments.
Responding, the LCDA Chairman, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu reiterated the commitment of the governor towards rural development, saying the autonomy granted Local Governments in the state had triggered massive developments in the rural s.
While commending the Governor’s leadership style, Hon Oniyelu appreciated the APC leaders in the LCDA for their support for the governor and the LCDA. He said Governor Oyebanji is passionate about the rapid development of Ekiti State to make live bearable for Ekiti residents
He added that the meeting would be held regularly to give room for robust deliberations for the development of Ifeloju LCDA and the advancement of All Progressives Congress in the state.
