IFELOJU CHAIR, HON ONIYELU CELEBRATES PROF. IBIMILUYI ON HIS ELEVATION TO PROFESSORSHIP
The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti, Hon Olusola Michael Oniyelu has described the promotion of Mr Francis O Ibimiluyi from Associate Professor to full fledged professor as a reward for diligence.
The Council boss who congratulated Prof Ibimiluyi on the great feat, said it’s a cheering news for Ilupeju Ekiti; a moral booster to those in the academic and the younger generations.
Hon Oniyelu asserted that it was the test of fire that makes a fine steel, adding that result is always celebrated not considering the efforts put in place to achieve the
feat. He stressed that Prof Ibimiluyi got the elevation via hardwork, consistency, perseverance, determination, forthrightness and being focused .
The management of Ekiti state University on Wednesday, 19 June, 2024 promoted Prof Ibimiluyi of Guidance and Counselling Department of the institution from associate Professor to full fledged professor, having served several years on his former level. While appreciating the management of the institution for taking cognisance of the contributions of the Ilupeju born Academic, Hon Oniyelu prayed God to continue to promote the institution to international standard.
Hon Oniyelu prayed God to endow the new professor sound health and long life to further contribute to Nigeria’s Educational standard. He congratulated Ilupeju Ekiti inhabitants on the elevation.
