The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ilupeju-Ekiti, Hon. Olusola Michael Oniyelu, has congratulated the newly recalled Commissioners and Special Advisers sworn in by the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, describing their return to the State Executive Council as well deserved and timely.
Hon. Oniyelu, in a statement issued in Ilupeju-Ekiti, applauded Governor Oyebanji for his unwavering commitment to good governance, accountability, and continuity—qualities he said were clearly demonstrated through the reinstatement of the 17 Commissioners and 11 Special Advisers.
They include: Prof Patrick Tedela, Mr Seun Fakuade, Mr Adedayo Gold Adesola, Dr Kareem Makanjuola Akande, Prof Rasaki Ojo Bakare, Hon Kayode Fasae. And Hon Femi Ajayi. Also, the Special Advisers were: Chief Jide Awe, Arch Tope Ogunleye, Hon Gbenga Agbeyo, Hon Yemisi Ayokunle, Mr Gbenga Oloniyo, Mrs Oluremi Babington, Chief (Mrs) Kemi Olaleye, Hon Abiola Olowokere, Mr Akinleye Sunday, and Mr Ayeni Odunayo Adeola among others.

He commended the Governor for charging the newly re-appointed cabinet members to uphold the highest standards of responsibility, transparency, innovation, and diligence in the discharge of their duties, stressing that the renewed mandate given to them is a call to serve with greater dedication.
The Ifeloju LCDA Chairman noted that the Governor’s remarks during the swearing-in ceremony reflected a leader who is focused on consolidating achievements recorded in the last three years in critical sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, education, health, arts and culture, and socio-economic development.
Hon. Oniyelu urged the newly inaugurated cabinet members to heed the Governor’s directive to “hit the ground running,” especially as the state intensifies efforts toward accelerated development and the approaching election season. He emphasized that their performance in office will further strengthen Ekiti’s growth trajectory and support the Governor’s people-centered agenda.
He further congratulated the appointees for earning the Governor’s trust once again, adding that their return to their former portfolios demonstrates confidence in their capacities and a clear expectation for improved delivery.
“As the Governor rightly stated, Ekiti people remain the employers, and we all owe them responsible, effective, and selfless service. I applaud His Excellency for his strong leadership and congratulate the newly recalled Commissioners and Special Advisers. I am confident that they will justify this renewed opportunity through hard work, loyalty, creativity, and commitment to the collective success of our dear state,” Hon. Oniyelu said.
He also commended the cabinet members for pledging their continued loyalty to Governor Oyebanji and reaffirming their readiness to contribute meaningfully to the realization of the shared prosperity agenda anchored on the Six Pillars of the administration.
Hon. Oniyelu expressed optimism that the reconstituted Executive Council will not only strengthen governance but also work tirelessly to ensure a strong finish for the Oyebanji-led administration and support its success in the forthcoming 2026 governorship election.
