Ilupeju Pillars of Ilupeju Ekiti has qualified for quarter final in the ongoing 1XBET Competition taking place in Lagos State.
Ilupeju Pillars FC defeated the One Glory FC by 2 : 0 in their first match on Tuesday
At the knock out stage on Thursday, Ilupeju Pillars FC thrashed City Sport FC 4 :3 in a penality kick which qualifies Ilupeju Pillars for quarter final in the tournament .
In a statement by Director Of Media And Publicity, Ilupeju Youth Development Association, Hon. Jospeh Oluropo made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti, stated that Ilupeju Pillars FC is representing Ekiti State.
Celebrating the victory, Ilupeju Youth president who coordinated the team and also the Oye Local Government Sport Coordinator, Engineer Femi Fagbemi commended the players for the victory, he tasked them to work hard for the next match. He said, our target is to win the cup”
While applauding Ilupeju Indigenes that have supported the team so far, Engineer Fagbemi assured them that their investment on the team would not be in vain.
