In a bid to curb spate of insecurity in Nigeria, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State Council has scheduled a public lecture for Thursday 4th April, 2024.
Titled: Breaking the Barriers to a Secured Society’
According to a statement by the Secretary of the Union, O’Seun Ogunsakin, the public lecture will be held at the Sanni Abacha Hall, Old Governor’s Office, Ado Ekiti, by 10 AM.
Ogunsakin said the security lecture will be delivered by the Southwest coordinator of the Commander, Amotekun Corps, Ondo State Command, Mr. Adetunji Adeleye and Dr Olusola Moka of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti.
Dignitaries expected at the lecture: include Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, Security chiefs in the State, Local Government chairmen, Traditional Rulers and other critical stakeholders.
The event would equip participants with security tips.
