The presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited former President , Olusegun Obasanjo at the Penthouse of Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Oke – Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State around 1 pm on Wednesday.
The presidential candidate was accompanied by former Governors of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Otunba Olusegun Osoba, incumbent Governor, Dapo Abiodun, State functionaries and party leaders.
The visit was said to be in connection to the 2023 presidential election. Obasanjo, Tinubu, and his entourage :the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, APC former Chairman, Bisi Akande and Nuhu Ribadu, former EFCC Chairman had gone into a closed-door meeting while thousands supporters of the presidential candidates were outside chanting his praises.
The presidential candidate of APC would later in the day address party members at MKO Abiola Stadium
Recalled that the duo had kept distance since 2015 presidential election when Obasanjo supported President Buhari.
