Following the composition of Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo and Osun state executives of Calm Down Nigeria Initiative, the National Secretary and Ekiti state Coordinator, Prince James Oluwafemi Oniyelu has charged the executives to live above board in their new positions.
The Secretary who reiterated that their new positions called for more dedication and willingness to acquaint themselves with the operations of the CDNI mainly to cue into the Renewed Hope Agenda of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and propagate his lofty and people’s oriented programmes to all and sundries.
According to the National Secretary, we are all aware of several interventions of president Tinubu to revive the unstable economy handed over to him by the previous administration . It behooves us to educate the masses on these interventions that would put smiles on the faces of common citizens, though the results of the president’s efforts may not be felt immediately but soonest, Nigerians will appreciate the president for tackling these aged long problems facing Nigeria that his predecessors have tactically dodged.
Some of the president’s programmes to strengthen Nigeria’s economy include: Introduction of students loan, conversion of petroleum vehicles to Compress Natural Gas, several categories of soft loans given to youths and women to boost their businesses, High Tech training, distribution of several thousand bags of fertilizers to farmers for food sufficiency and Empowerment given to youths, financial autonomy to local Government among others. All these measures and several others have proved that the president is ready to reposition the country ”
Many of these interventions are not adequately publicized for Nigerians to participate, it’s on this basis, all hands must be on deck to work to transform the Nigeria economy” The National Secretary and Ado Ekiti Coordinator said.
