Venerable Dr Olusola Adenigba, the vica of Saint John’s Anglican Church, Ilupeju Ekiti, has charged Nigerians to make their way right with God, saying there would be no room for amendment after death
The clergyman gave the admonition on Friday during the christian wake keep of Late Madam Victoria Adeleye Oniyelu in Ilupeju Ekiti. Ven. Olusola said, no one has power over death, enjoined the congregation to serve God with all their mind saying, death is inevitable, every living soul is duty bound to obey all the dictates of Christ after death, judgment followed.
Ven. Adenigba Urged the congregation in Philippians 1: 20 not to defer their salvation , saying tomorrow may be too late to make the right decision for them to be rapturable with Christ if death comes suddenly, adding that one’s wealth, position and exposure were not passport to reign with Christ.
The clergyman extolled the virtues of late Victoria Oniyelu whom he said was a good example of Christian. According to the man of God” Mama used her time and resources to serve God and humanity. She was a devout Christian, who gave unflinching support to the gospel during her lifetime. I urged the children to continue where mama stopped ”
While testifying about his mother, the chairman of Ifeloju LCDA, Ilupeju Ekiti described her as loving, caring, and generous to mankind. ” My mother lived a sacrificial life, she was a mother in a million, a devout Christian, the grace of God came to pass in my mother’s life, Sleep well mama”
On her part, Mrs Adesoro, church member said the late Victoria Oniyelu was the treasurer of St John’s Anglican Church who was accountable, devoted, generous, not materialistic and willing to lend helping hands to the needy to train their children in schools. Mama was prudent, accountable, always ready to help the ministry of Christ. Mrs Adesoro said.
