Hon. Fadugba described Mrs Bodunde as a dependable administrator who fostered productive relationships between political office holders and career officers.
“It gives me great joy to witness Mrs Bodunde’s retirement after a remarkable career. However, it is not easy for me to bid her farewell. At this point, I wish my loyal HLA success in all her future endeavours,” he stated.
The retirement celebration, which attracted dignitaries from across the state, also featured tributes from the Permanent Secretary of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Mrs Selina Toba-Ojo, who represented the Commission’s Chairman, Hon. Samuel Abejide.
Mrs Toba-Ojo commended Mrs Bodunde’s professional contributions and encouraged her to focus on personal wellness and spiritual growth in retirement.
“As you enter this new chapter of your life, I encourage you to spend quality time with family and friends, pursue hobbies, and explore new interests. Above all, remain prayerful and allow God to guide your path,” she said.
In an emotional response, Mrs Bodunde expressed deep gratitude to all who celebrated her retirement, including the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, whom she praised as a “worker-friendly leader who has made local government administration more vibrant and productive.”
She also appreciated the Management of the Local Government Service Commission, the Moba LG team, royal fathers led by the Oore of Otun Ekiti, Oba Adekunle Adeagbo, political office holders, colleagues, friends and family among others for their support throughout her journey.
