The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), with 60.26 percent of candidates securing at least five credits, including English and Mathematics.
Announcing the results at NECO headquarters in Minna on Wednesday, the Registrar, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, said a total of 818,492 candidates made the benchmark performance.
According to him, 1,144,496 candidates, representing 84.26 percent, scored five credits and above irrespective of English and Mathematics.
Wushishi explained that 1,367,210 candidates registered for the examination—comprising 685,514 males and 681,696 females—while 1,358,339 sat for the exam (680,292 males and 678,047 females).
