Newshereandthere Magazine is set to honour some distinguished personalities who have contributed immensely to the development of women and children in Nigeria as the maiden edition hits newsstand.
Among those to be honoured are: First Female Governorship Candidate in Ekiti State ,Erelu Kemi Elebute- Halle with the award of ‘Asset to Women folks’, Rt. Hon. Olubunmi Adelugba, Speaker Ekiti State House of Assembly as ‘Pride to Womenfolks’ and Mrs Jane Adebayo ( Isabella) Icon in Women Entrepreneur.
In a statement by the coordinator of Newshereandthere, Adewumi Ademiju stated that the “News Magazine is established to serve as a veritable platform for the general public on gender reportage aimed at National development.
“The clamour for the development of women/girl Child and Child care in general is crucial for human advancement, it has gained more momentum which necessitates the importance of harnessing Journalism as a profession in boosting the call for a tremendous positive outcome”.
The statement further hinted that the magazine is in circulation to project women and children development in the society.
