The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers, Ekiti state Wing, Comrade Daodu Bamidele Olaitan has rejoiced with teachers on the occasion of 2023 Christmas and new year celebration.
The chairman who appreciated the co-operation and support of Ekiti teachers in the state, congratulated them for witnessing the Christmas and new year in sound health. He prayed God to keep them safe and sound to celebrate many years on earth.
Comrade Daodu prayed that the peace, love, and happiness of the season would be permanent in the lives of the teachers, adding that the spirit of Christmas would open doors of favours, blessings and breakthrough for them as they enter the new year with high spirit and hope.
The chairman appreciated Governor Biodun Oyebanji for prioritizing teachers welfare and his numerous interventions in education sector which has placed the state in it’s rightful position in Nigeria as fountain of knowledge. He further reiterated teachers unwavering loyality and unalloyed support to the Governor.
While urging the teachers to celebrate in modesty, he assured them of protecting their interest at all times. He advised them to make use of all the teachings and lessons the birth of Jesus Christ depicts as they go into the new year, adding that they should extend hands of fellowship to one another during the yuletide period .
