The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ekiti State on State Capital and Human Development Authority, Comrade Ogunleye Olakunle Olanrewaju, has congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his seamless affirmation as the governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the forthcoming 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State.
Comrade Ogunleye, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, described the Governor’s affirmation at the APC primary election held on October 27, 2025, at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, as a well-deserved recognition of his sterling leadership and exceptional performance across all sectors of the state.
He lauded Governor Oyebanji for his giant developmental strides in infrastructure, education, agriculture, health, human capital development, and youth empowerment, noting that his administration has redefined governance in Ekiti through inclusiveness, transparency, and impactful policies.
According to Ogunleye, “Governor Oyebanji’s emergence as the APC flag bearer is a true reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership by party members and the generality of Ekiti people. His people-oriented policies and commitment to the collective progress of the state have endeared him to all.”
The Ilupeju-Ekiti-born political aide further pledged to mobilize residents of Ilupeju-Ekiti, alongside his friends, associates, and well-wishers across the state, to ensure massive support for the Governor’s second-term bid.
He also urged all progressive-minded citizens of Ekiti to rally behind Governor Oyebanji for the consolidation of his first-term achievements, stressing that continuity would guarantee sustainable development and greater prosperity for the state.
Comrade Ogunleye concluded by wishing Governor Oyebanji more wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as he continues to actualize his vision of an inclusive, prosperous, and progressive Ekiti State.
