The Old students Association of Methodist Primary School Ilogbe, Ifaki Ekiti has honoured a living legend, Pa John Adebayo Ajiboye of Isiwo street, Ilupeju Ekiti.
Pa Ajiboye was presented an award of OLDEST LIVING TEACHER during the centenary anniversary of the school on Wednesday as a former teacher of the school.
The president of the association described PA Ajiboye as a disciplinarian and hardworking man whose teaching had not only helped them to face future challenges but made them responsible and respected persons in the society . He prayed God to strengthen the award recipient.
While responding, Pa Ajiboye appreciated the Association for finding him worthy of the award, he prayed God to prosper them in their chosen careers while charging them to use their connections to further develop the school. According to Pa Ajiboye, “Government needs private sectors especially old students Association to develop schools and encourage learning, saying their involvement would not only complement government but encourage learning in our contemporary society, Education is the bedrock of development”
