Following the continuous absence of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State from office on health ground necessitated the Ondo State House of Assembly to convey a plenary to declare the embatled Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa as Acting Governor of the state.
The plenary got the nod of the national secretariat of All Progressives Congress( APC) Abuja.
Recall that the president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu had met the state stakeholders from Ondo State on the imbroglio.
