The Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Olusola Michael Oniyelu, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across the council area on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message made available to journalists, the chairman congratulated Muslims in Ilupeju Ekiti, Itapa, Osin, Omu, and Ijelu Ekiti for their spiritual devotion, sacrifice, and steadfastness throughout the fasting period. He urged them to sustain the values of piety, discipline, and selflessness imbibed during Ramadan in their daily lives.

Hon. Oniyelu emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, calling on residents of the LCDA to continue living in harmony with one another, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences. He also encouraged the faithful to show love, extend hands of fellowship, and support the less privileged in the society, especially during the festive period.
While assuring residents of adequate security arrangements during the celebration, the chairman advised moderation in festivities, urging citizens to celebrate responsibly and safely.
He further reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering more dividends of democracy to all communities within the LCDA, including Ilupeju Ekiti, Itapa, Osin, Omu, and Ijelu Ekiti. He expressed appreciation to religious and traditional leaders for their continuous prayers, guidance, and cooperation, which he noted contributed significantly to the progress and stability of the council.
“On this joyous occasion, I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our acts of worship and preserves us all to witness many more celebrations in good health, peace, and prosperity,” the chairman stated.
Hon. Oniyelu wished all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
