A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Otunba Adesola Adeboro, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on his emergence as Governor of the Year 2025 by Leadership Newspaper.
In a statement made available to PRECISE NEWS on Friday , Otunba Adeboro described the Award as well-deserved, noting that it was a clear recognition of the governor’s outstanding leadership and remarkable achievements across critical sectors of the state’s economy.
Adeboro said the multiple awards conferred on Governor Oyebanji since 2024 were a testament to his leadership prowess and unwavering commitment to the development of Ekiti State. According to him, the governor’s transformative policies and people-oriented programmes have not only accelerated growth within the state but have also projected Ekiti positively on both the national and international stage.
“The series of honours bestowed on Governor Oyebanji in the last two years speak volumes about his dedication, competence and visionary leadership. His developmental strides have repositioned Ekiti and enhanced the state’s image beyond our borders,” Adeboro said.
He added that the Governor of the Year award by Leadership Newspaper further validates the widespread acceptance and appreciation of Oyebanji’s performance in office. Otunba Adeboro prayed that God would continue to endow the governor with sound health, wisdom and strength to deliver more dividends of democracy to residents of Ekiti State .
He described Oyebanji as a transformative leader whose administration has brought renewed hope and progress to the state.
The APC stalwart also commended Leadership Newspaper and its management for recognising excellence in governance, noting that such honours would encourage public office holders to remain committed to impactful service delivery.
Otunba Adeboro said he is proud of the governor, adding that the support of Ikole residents remain total and unweaving.
