The Ekiti State Governor -Elect, Biodun Oyebanji has promised Ekiti State workers a cordial working relationship, saying he would be a listening and responsive governor .
The Governor Elect made the promise while on a’ thank you tour’ to the leadership of Nigeria Labour Congress, ( NLC) Ekiti State Chapter.
Oyebanji who immediately after his emergence as Governor commenced ‘thank you tour’ to the sixteen Local Government Areas and eminent sons and daughters of Ekiti State for their support during the June 18th election.
The Governor Elect, appreciated the workers and promised to prioritize their welfare. He charged them to criticise his administration when the need arises
While responding, the NLC chairman, Ekiti State Chapter, Comrade Kolapo Joshua Olatunde congratulated the governor and the Deputy Governor elect for displaying high level of humility by associating with the grassroot which according him shows the Governor Elect is ready for the task of good governance when he eventually resumes office by October.
The chairman pleaded with the Governor elect to help reinstate fifteen staff of Ekiti State House of Assembly that were sacked few years ago.
