The PDP Governors Forum has vowed not to allow the lingering crises in Rivers State consume Governor Siminalayi Fubara with a promise to commence wider stakeholders consultation in the state.
The PDP Governors make their position known on Wednesday, rising from the forum’s meeting held at Enugu Government House.
The communique reads in part ” The forum notes the crisis in Rivers State and commits to ensuring peace.The forum has resolved to stand by the Governor, SIM Fubara and adopt means to proffer lasting solutions to the crises in Rivers State.
The forum lampooned APC administration for subjecting Nigerians to suffering, while identifying with Nigerians at this critical period, the party reiterated that PDP’s 16 years administration improved the standard of living of Nigerians via a single digit inflation.
The Forum promised to bring back the good old days; of low inflation rate, affordable food, moderate fuel price and transportation among others.
Governors at the meeting include: SIM Fubara (Rivers State) Seyi Makinde(Oyo State), Peter Mba( Enugu), Almadu Fintiri (Adamawa) Umo Eno (Akwa Ibon), Douye Diri( Bayalsa), Bala Mohammed ( Bauchi)
