The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in collaboration with the vigilantes had arrested 3 notorious kidnappers inside a forest in Ijan-Ekiti, Gboyin Local Government, Area, Ekiti State.
While parading the culprit, the PPRO, Ekiti State Command, ASP Sunday Abutu, said the arrested suspects were : ABDULLAHI MUSA 38yrs , ABDULLAHI ALI 25yrs, ABDULLAHI SULEIMAN 19yrs. The kidnappers confessed to have been engaged in series of kidnapping operations in Ekiti State including two kidnapping incidents in Ikere-Ekiti.
The suspects further disclosed that their syndicate were made up of seven(7) men with four others currently at large.
It would be recalled that barely a month ago, 2 of the kidnappers terrorising the state were napped by the Ekiti State Police Command.
ASP, Sunday Abutu gave an assurance that the fleeing members would be arrested.
