Sunday Jejewlowo Adunmo, on the occasion of his 61st birthday, today 20th June, 2025.
Comrade Ibitoye described Hon. Adunmo as “a visionary politician, a grassroots mobilizer, and a committed community builder whose life has been a shining example of service, sacrifice, and steadfast dedication to development.”
Hon Adunmo, popularly called ‘ GALAXY’ is a trailblazer in Ekiti Politics; born and raised in Ilupeju-Ekiti, has carved a niche for himself in the political landscape through humility, tenacity, and transformative leadership.His political journey gained prominence when he was elected to represent Oye Constituency 2 in the Ekiti State House of Assembly
As a legislator then, Hon. Adunmo was known for his vibrant contributions on the floor of the House, championing motions and bills that directly addressed rural development, youth empowerment, infrastructure, and agricultural sustainability. His tenure remains a benchmark of representation, accessibility, and impactful governance among his contemporaries, he became a rallying point
Following his stint at the Assembly, Hon. Adunmo was appointed Senior Special Assistant on Roads, Transport and Infrastructure to former Governor (Dr) John Kayode Fayemi. In that capacity, he brought pragmatic leadership to bear, initiating strategic infrastructure projects and supervising key developmental interventions across the state. His role was instrumental in bridging the urban-rural divide and ensuring access to far-flung communities.
Currently serving as the Coordinator of RAAMP in Ekiti, Hon. Adunmo continues to champion rural transformation with unalloyed commitment. Under his leadership, the project has witnessed improved access to agricultural markets, enhanced rural connectivity, and elevated living standards for thousands of farmers and rural dwellers. His stewardship is widely regarded as one of the most effective in the programmes’ history.
Beyond public office, Hon. Adunmo’s heart remains rooted in his community. As a respected leader in Ilupeju-Ekiti, he has used his multifaceted influence in politics, hospitality sector, and the construction industry to catalyze local development and uplift his people.
His business ventures have not only provided employment to numerous youths across Ekiti but also contributed to the economic buoyancy of the state. Hon. Adunmo continues to open doors of opportunity for many.
Comrade Law Ibitoye also noted Hon. Adunmo’s unrelenting support for the youth, saying:

As he celebrates another year of life, Hon.
