President Bola Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa for her outstanding service to the nation, describing her as a devoted public servant who has consistently demonstrated passion, integrity, and commitment to national development.
President Tinubu recalled her illustrious career in broadcasting with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) before her election into the House of Representatives in 2003, where she served three consecutive terms and chaired the House Committees on Media and Publicity as well as Diaspora Affairs.
He noted that as the head of NIDCOM, Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa has continued to champion the cause of Nigerians in the Diaspora and promote their contributions to the nation’s growth, particularly in education, health, and sports.
The President lauded her dedication to social justice, compassion for the underprivileged, and unwavering patriotism, acknowledging that the numerous awards and recognitions she has received are well-deserved testaments to her impact and service.
President Tinubu wished Mrs. Dabiri-Erewa many more years of good health, fulfillment, and greater accomplishments in the service of Nigeria and humanity.
