President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, will arrive in Ekiti State on a two-day working visit from October 16 to 17, 2025.
During the visit, the President is expected to inaugurate a number of landmark infrastructural projects executed by Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration, as part of ongoing efforts to promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life in the state.
Top on the list of projects slated for commissioning are the newly reconstructed Iworoko Road and the 18-kilometre Ring Road. Both projects are regarded as strategic investments designed to ease transportation, strengthen intra-state connectivity, boost trade and commerce, and stimulate socio-economic growth in Ekiti and neighbouring states.
In a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special adviser to the president on information and strategy said President Tinubu will also inspect other ongoing development projects in the state, reaffirming the Federal Government’s commitment to supporting subnational governments in delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
The visit has generated excitement among the people of Ekiti, who see it as a major step in deepening the partnership between the Federal Government and the state. It also aligns with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritises inclusive growth and infrastructural transformation across the country.
