In furtherance of his commitment to public enlightenment and awareness, a renowned tax expert and retired Director of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Abuja, Prince Ayodele Adebolu, has announced a special television engagement to educate Nigerians on the new tax law scheduled to take effect from January 1, 2026.
In a statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday,
Prince Adebolu, an indigene of Ado-Ekiti, will feature on the Ekiti State Television (EKTV), Channel 42, on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 4:30pm, where he will provide expert insights into the provisions, implications and expectations of the new tax regime.


The programme is aimed at sensitising citizens, taxpayers, business owners and stakeholders on key aspects of the law, while addressing widespread misconceptions and concerns surrounding its implementation.
Residents of Ekiti State and Nigerians at large are encouraged to tune in and participate in the highly educative and impactful session, which promises to enhance understanding and promote compliance with the new tax law.
This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure that citizens are well-informed and adequately prepared ahead of the commencement of the new tax policy in January 2026.
