Relaying adequate, timely information and being responsive to the society has necessitated the global Icon Award presented to five individuals who have excelled in their chosen careers.
Presenting the awards at Ilupeju Ekiti on Sunday by the Chief Executive Officer, MIKE GLOBAL WORLD STUDIO-TV, Ambassador Michael Babatunde Adeoba Obameto eulogized the awardees, saying they have all contributed to the growth and development of the society.
While appreciating the awardees, the CEO, promised to give best services to residents of Ilupeju, Ekiti and Nigeria at large . He however solicited support and patronage from residents of the state and Nigeria for utmost performance.
According to him ” MIKE TV started few years ago but relocated to ILUPEJU EKITI sometimes in 2023…. With the help of Almighty GOD, we have been operating via some people called ‘MIKE PILLARS among whom are:

Amb. Michael Babatunde commended the publisher of Precise News for consistently using his platform to project the good image of Ilupeju Ekiti, her inhabitants and for contributing to national issues. He added that the DPO, Ilupeju Division and other awardees had in one way or the other encouraged him to stardom .
Earlier, the chairman of the occasion, Sir, Osakwu J M had commended the CEO of Mike TV for
Establishing the studio in Ilupeju Ekiti, he enjoined him to religiously follow the ethics of the profession for utmost performance.
Also speaking, The Chairman of P.R.O Communications, Alhaji Amusa Rasaq commended Mike TV for his resilience, professionalism and patriotism, while urging him to be more dedicated to the profession, he advised him not be in a haste to make fortune , saying slow, steady and focused wins the race.
On her part, Mrs Bukola Adeyemi, Buki photo admonished Amb Michael Babatunde to be honest and remain focused to the profession, saying, there might be little challenges at the beginning but assured him of a brighter future.
Responding, Comrade Law Ibitoye appreciated the CEO of Mike TV for the recognition, he promised his unalloyed cooperation and support. He congratulated Ilupeju sons and daughters for having the studio in the town. He said the studio would not only project the activities of the town but gives residents unhindered access to air their views on national issues.
Law ibitoye dedicated the award to the progressive sons and daughters of Ilupeju Ekiti. Promised to always project the activities and good name of the town to the world.
