The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Engr. Temitope John Alake, has assured members of the Polytechnic community of sustained peace, stability, and institutional progress.
Engr. Alake gave the assurance on Wednesday at the institution’s annual Christmas Carol Service and Thanksgiving held at the main campus in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The event, presided over by the Rector, brought together members of management, staff, students, and religious leaders to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his address, the Rector expressed appreciation to God, the Federal Government, and key stakeholders for their continuous support and goodwill towards the Polytechnic.
The carol service featured Bible readings, hymns, prayers, and sermons focused on the Christmas message and core Christian values.
Delivering the sermon, guest preacher Pastor Dr. Ologunde spoke on the theme “Reciprocity to God,” urging the Polytechnic community to embrace gratitude and responsibility in response to God’s blessings.
The programme concluded with prayers and benedictions, bringing the Polytechnic’s 2025 Christmas celebration to a peaceful end.
