Rev Father Micheal Olofinlade who was abducted on Saturday has regained freedom from his abductors
Details of his release was sketchy as at the time of writing this report.
Confirming his release the Owajumu of Omu ijelu, Oba Adeyeye Ogundeyi said his abductors released him along Itapaji Road, Adding that Rev. Father Olofinlade is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
Fr. Olafinlade is the Parish Priest of St. George Catholic Church, Omu Ekiti, in Oye Local Government .
Recall, the priest was kidnapped while returning to Omu Ekiti on Saturday from Ado Ekiti on pastoral assignment .
The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti, Most Rev Felix Ajakaiye had solicited prayers for the quick and safe release of Father Olofinlade in a statement made available to journalists on Monday.
