The Executive Chairman of Moba Local Government, Hon Bamidele FADUGBA has sought the support of women chiefs in the Local Government for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s second term .
Hon Fadugba who applauded the continued support of the women chiefs for his administration, called on them to pray and support the performing governor who has transformed Ekiti state in less than two years in office.
The chairman made the call when the women chiefs converged on the local Government secretariat for their quarterly meeting on Thursday. Hon Fadugba who said he held the women chiefs in high esteem, presented clothing materials to them.
While appreciating the good works of Governor Oyebanji, Fadugba said” the governor has excellently delivered on his six points agenda which has made his second term contest easy. “We cannot but mention the numerous achievements of our performing governor which include: road maintenance and construction, provision of affordable health facilities, agriculture, adequate education, education support for students, prompt payment of workers salary, policies and programmes that aid employment and empowerment, adequate security, electrification of communities that have been disconnected from national grid for
decades and his cordial relationship with opposition parties in the state which has accorded the state the most peaceful in Nigeria among others.
The chairman who opined that with Governor Oyebanji, Ekiti state is in best hand, he called on all residents of the state to always pray for the governor. The women chiefs prayed for the governor and Hon FADUGBA, saying the duo have served the masses meritoriously.
The women chiefs however called on Governor Oyebanji to extend the goodies of governance to them, saying though they have never had direct contact with the governor but they pray for him daily.
The wife of the chairman, Mrs Labake FADUGBA appreciated the women chiefs for their support always, she assured the chiefs that his husband would always prioritize their needs.
