Committee on Ethics, privileges and code of conduct of the Senate on Thursday slammed senator Natasha Akpoti- Uduaghan six months suspension for violating Senate rules.
According to the chairman of the committee, Senator Neda Imasuen, Natasha suspension takes effect from 6th March, 2025 without pay. Her office will be locked
At the expiration of the suspension, she will write an apology letter before resumption and during the suspension her salaries and that of her legislative aids would be suspended .
She will be barred from coming near the red Chamber and should stop parading herself as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Recall , the Kogi Central lawmaker had alleged that the Senate president, Akpabio, sexually harassed her
