Senator Ali Ndume representing Borno North has been removed as Chief whip by APC senators
At plenary on Wednesday, Senate President, Senator God’s will Akpabio read a protest letter against Ndume by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) citing his criticism of the president as inappropriate and not in support of the Federal government Agenda.
Recall that Senator Ndume last week alleged that President Tinubu was caged by some cabas in ASO ROCK who did not allow him to know the reality of economic downturn on the masses.
After Senate President’s voice vote, Senator Ndume was replaced by Senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno.
