The Executive Chairman of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Hon, Olusola Michael Oniyelu has urged christians to extend hands of fellowship to one another as they celebrate Christmas.
The chairman in a congratulatory statement to Christians across the globe, said the hallmarks of Christmas was to show love, compassion and maintain a cordial relationship with one another as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
Hon Oniyelu urged residents of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area, Ilupeju Ekiti and Nigerians to practice the lessons of the birth of Jesus Christ which symbolized: love, humility, compassion and peace among others. While admonishing the people of Ifeloju, the LCDA Boss tasked them to be appreciative in all things, saying, it is imperative to appreciate God for being alive ‘hale and hearty’ to celebrate 2024 Christmas.
The statement reads, “I Felicitate my people in Ifeloju LCDA for witnessing this year’s Christmas in peace and sound minds. I want to charge you all to be appreciative in all things as enshrined in the bible; You may not have attained your set goals as planned for the year but for the fact that you are alive, hope is not lost; keep praying, share the little you have with people around you and live harmoniously with one another. Be peaceful and moderate as you celebrate. The joy of this season will not elude you. I wish you merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance.
I appreciate your support and cooperation so far which has helped me to impact lives and expand dividends of democracy to our people.”
Hon Oniyelu assured the people of Ifeloju Local Council Development Area of his continued dedication to the growth and development of all communities that make up the LCDA.
