No fewer than five persons sustained series of injuries in Ekute, Ado Ekiti on Thursday from stray bullets from an officer of Ekiti state Agro Marshals.
Precise News reliably gathered that the accidental discharge emanated from the ineptitude of the Officer who shot to the air to clear way for the vehicle of Ekiti state Agro Marshals that stuck in a traffic around Ekute this evening.
The victims including two officers of the Corps are currently receiving treatment at the Police clinic, Ado Ekiti confirmed that it was an accidental discharge.
The Commandant of the Agro Marshall Corps, Mr. Olamide Oni declined comment but from his conversation with the police, he
confirmed that the concerned officer had been arrested and would be handed over to the police for further investigation
